Vintage Singer Featherweight 221 Sewing Machine with Accessories WORKS

Description:

For your consideration is a vintage Singer sewing machine. Although the instruction booklet claims it to be a Singer 221, my research suggests it likely from 1948. I have plugged it in personally and tested the footpad and the sewing machine works. As seen in the pictures, it comes with plenty of bells and whistles: including various spools of vintage thread, attachments, needles and measuring hem. There is currently a spool of thread loaded in the machine but I am not comfortable trying to take it out. Excellent condition with vintage character: scratches and wear to flat surface of the piece. Additionally there is some black paint scratched off on the top (seen in the eighth picture). I am not an expert in vintage sewing machines but I strongly suspect it was cared for by the previous owner; it does not have that ‘old sewing machine’ smell that I have encountered from other sewing machines. Please look at pictures as they accurately reflect the beauty and condition of the sew machine and accessories. Please view the tenth and eleventh pictures to get an idea of what accessories are included. Tracking is included in price of shipping. Please ask any and all questions before purchasing and I will respond to them especially as I am interested in learning more about vintage sewing machines and what specifications to particularly highlight. Thank you and happy shopping!
